“My grandfather, Don O'Dell, passed a couple of months before I was born but I still show thanks every year for his service as a US Marine! His 2 purple hearts are my family's most treasured heirlooms.” =Kristen O’Dell

“Today is veterans today and I just wanted to share pics of my dad who is in the army! he always wanted to join the military and went to a military high school because of it — he wasn’t able to enlist until I was 10/11 due to unforeseen circumstances but he’s been a soldier for about 15 years now” - Kayla Smalls

“Here is a picture of my Great Grandad who served in WW2. He joined the army in India however he served and fought alongside British troops for Britain as the British ruled India at the time.” - Jaume Sugar

“This is my grandad, Hank Schaller! He served in the Air Force as a navigator for bomber planes in WWII. He lived to be 95 years old and had 6 daughters, 10+ grandchildren, and 20+ great-grandchildren! He kept scrapbooks of his time in the service and they are some of our greatest family heirlooms!” - Lauren Angelini

“Both of my grandparents were in the Navy during WWII — I wasn’t able to obtain any pics of my paternal grandfather Bruce Campbell, but I was able to get some photos of my maternal grandfather Salvatore Bonanno who put off going to college to serve as a Seabee building naval infrastructure. He was based in the Pacific near Australia so proud of them and all who served and continue to serve, including families, friends, and partners who are fully in it with the men & women enrolled. Thank you!!” - Meghan Slaven

“My love and support for all veterans are deeply rooted in my family’s commitment to this country and to all who reside here. From my children to my brother, aunts, uncles, and cousins. We are a family dedicated to service and I am so proud of them all” - Tj Albert
