Our Voices x Quarterly Causes: Racism in Healthcare - Replay ⏪
In recognition of Black History Month and our Q1 Quarterly Cause which will focus on Health, today GumGummers participated in an Our Voices x Quarterly Causes panel discussion led by BIPOC healthcare professionals to learn about the racism and disparities that the Black community faces in the healthcare industry. This session was very insightful and focused on the historical and systemic issues that have plagued the black community when it comes to inequity and inequality in healthcare, HIV, food insecurity and nutrition, biases, and what’s being done to make improvements in these areas.
