BET (Black Excellence in Tech) Celebrates BHM at Alta Adams
Earlier in the week, on Tuesday, February 7th, the Black Excellence in Tech ERG members got together for their first in-person event in LA at Black-Owned Alta Adams Restaurant. For many, this was their first time meeting in person, so prior to going to dinner some members of the group spent the work day at WeWork and got together for lunch, where they were joined by our CEO, Phil Schrader, and Kayla Small’s cute little fur baby Winnie!
Later in the evening, they had dinner at Alta Adams, a black-owned soul food restaurant. The chef has coined the menu selection as California-Soul, due to his adoption of farm-to-table and using local and in-season produce.

As this was the first in-person meeting as a group, It was an excellent opportunity to learn more about one another and personal interests and hobbies outside of work. They enjoyed an array of southern-themed dishes and great conversation and left feeling closer to one another. Great times were had by all!
